Since 2019, Stefan Scheuer has been working on replacing the most harmful chemicals with safer alternatives in his role as Chief EU Policy Advocate. He is supported by Ioana and Fanny from the consultancy, who are responsible for duties related to policy, advocacy, news monitoring, newsletter production and event management in their respective roles as Policy Advocate and Policy Support.
The team is leading CHEM Trust’s EU advocacy. Great achievements include a ban on hormone-disrupting chemicals and PFAS in toys, and the creation of new harmonised classes for endocrine disruptors and other types of hazards related to persistence.
The team also represents CHEM Trust at events, towards the EU institutions or other stakeholders.
