Strong EU energy efficiency laws (January 2024 – June 2026)
Stefan Scheuer Consulting supported DENEFF, the voice of German businesses for energy efficiency, to ensure EU legislators walk the talk and make energy savings the bedrock for a fair, fast and attractive energy transition.
During this period, the Energy Efficiency and the Energy Performance of Buildings directives were under revision to align them with the EU’s climate targets and to respond to the energy crisis caused by Putin’s war.
The consultancy also worked on awareness raising among EU decision-makers of the importance and big potential of clean and efficient industrial process heat in Germany and the EU.
